This year the Monster Retailer Awards is going to be "Just Fine," featuring a concert performance by superstar Mary J Blige. Always the hottest social event at the Consumer Electronics Show, this invitation only event will take place on Tuesday, January 8th, at the Paris Hotel.

Sometimes called the new Chaka Khan or the new Aretha Franklin because Blige's own unique style of soul music style has inspired a whole new generation of musicians. This year she has been nominated for 2 grammies for the 2008 Grammy awards for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance for "Just Fine" and for Best R&B Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals and for "Disrespectful" a vocal with Chaka Khan Featuring Mary J. Blige. MJB is a six-time Grammy¨ Award winner, soul, and R&B soul singer, songwriter, rapper, record producer and actress. She has sold over 40 million records worldwide, has earned 23 Grammy Award nominations and won an incredible number of awards during her illustrious career.

She will be performing a selection of her hit songs such as "I Found My Everything," "All That I Can Say" and "Ooh," and will also thrill the audience with songs from her newest album, "Growing Pains." Mary J Blige's concerts are said to be "artfully paced" and "wickedly effect."
