I use ear buds daily for my walk to and from work which is about a mile each way. I have been a user of Shure brand ear buds which last about a year after use. I was told about Monster Lil Jamz and thought I would try them. They look very good and the metal construction was impressive, However after using them a day I found them disappointing.
As I was walking to work I kept hearing this echoing effect with my music. Like some reverberation of the metal into my ear canal. Annoying but I even found a way to tune it out. About a block from my workplace though the left ear piece stopped producing any sound from it.
I figured this was maybe my old ipod acting up, so when i came home tried it on a few products. Nope! The left ear piece was dead after just one mile. I feel cheated that I spent so much money for a product that lasted not even a full day. Do not buy this product. It will not last long.

With a cellphone, fantastic isolation and real sound, nothing bassy-deep thudding, but crispy, fast and natural!
