This unit is by far the easiest remote control to set up and use. The set up disk worked on my computer with Vista with out a hitch and covers every piece of equipment and every command. Very easy to go bcak and customize the controls and buttons. The Surround Sound and Picture buttons are great as you can put those separate commands in these areas so they don't take up space on the regular screen and are easily accesable.
Battery life is great as I can use it for a couple days before it needs to be placed in the charging station.
The lighting feature is easy to set up and use. Some work is required to set up the controls and wires but once done is wondeerful.
I like this remote so much I bought the AV100 for my bedroom and gave my Pop one as a gift.
It has so many options it will take some trial to see ALL THAT YOU CAN DO but once you figure it out, usually a couple of trips of downloding and changing, you'll never need another remote.
Customer service was helpful when I had to call but they are not remote only company.
The only complaint I have is that the cradle and remote sometimes don't hook up properly and you have to keep the contacts very clean. I clean mine twice a week when I have to charge it and usually all you have to do is rub a cloth across the contacts to keep them clean. They do get dusty pretty quick as it sits flat on a table.

It sucks that you get error messages when you first connect the bloody thing because the o/s updates are not compatible with the remote.

Product does not support Vista or Windows 7 and support from customer service is not helpful. Their response is that it should work but it does not!!! Multiple crashes with their outdated software. Get a different company's remote, they provide software that works!!!
