I bought this product hoping that this would work. Nope it doesnt. All i heard was static, the beat of the song and I couldnt hear the person singing. I tried it in my old car that i have, it didnt work. I tried it on my 2006 Cadillac, it still didnt work.Very disappointed.

Comments about Monster® iCarPlay Cassette Adapter 800 for iPod® and iPhone:
This is a quality cassette adapter. However, if you have an auto-reverse tape deck then this device will not work out of the box (hint: it's the only "trouble" listed in the manual that comes with the product). However, 5 minutes with an eyeglasses screwdriver (i.e., very small phillips head) can rectify the situation and the result is a great sounding and extremely quiet tape adapter solution. Remove the 5 screws from the back of the cassette and remove the additional "reverse" gears on the bottom of the cassette. The only necessary gears are the two standard gears and one in between them that keeps them moving during operation. That's it. At first, I was annoyed but after hearing how great it sounds after the fact - I dont mind the [$] and a little manual intervention.

Great Sound! Awesome Bass!
I've tried many adapters before and nothing compares to this topnotch product. I use it in my car to connect my iPhone.
Grab the MONSTER of adapters out there. Bass lovers will love it.
