Comments about Monster® iCarPlay Wireless 800 FM Transmitter for iPod® and iPhone:
I drive a Nissan with the antenna laminated to the rear window glass, above the defroster. Three years ago, I tried a similar, wired FM transmitter, with poor results. Since then, I've bought 3 wireless (portable) transmitters and had better, but still mixed results. The last one died on a road trip from worn contacts, and this unit was purchased on the fly. We chose it because it was the best available at the national retailer we shopped. My 22 year old daughter, who uses a wired transmitter in her own car successfully, couldn't get this unit to maintain a clear, static-free signal for more than a few minutes at a time. Even this required draping the wiring all over the car, just a certain way, different each time. After arriving home and clearing out the car from the trip, I sat in my driveway for about a half an hour, and could not get this unit to maintain clear transmission to my car's radio. Because of the otherwise high quality and ease of use of this unit, I will recommend it to those who have had good results with wired transmitters. As for me, when or after I return the iCarPlay 800, I will buy one of your iCarPlay 300 transmitters. I expect it to be more durable than the three portable transmitters I've had, two of which died of bad terminals, all in less than 3 years.

Comments about Monster® iCarPlay Wireless 800 FM Transmitter for iPod® and iPhone:
I updated my Iphone 3GS to software version 4.0.2 which is the latest version and as soon as I plug in this monster FM transmitter it says that this product is not made for this type of Iphone. I have nothing good to say about this monster product. If you have software 4.0.2 on your Iphone, do yourself a favor and save your money.

Comments about Monster® iCarPlay Wireless 800 FM Transmitter for iPod® and iPhone:
Very low power transmitter. Unable to overcome FM band weak transmitters. In FM mode, the most powerfull signal easyly crush the weak one. So a lightly more powered signal from the 800 would sqash the unwanted broadcast frequency because it is closer to the car radio antenna. But this Monster is a microbe. Are all the Monster products shamming? Questionnable reputation... !

Comments about Monster® iCarPlay Wireless 800 FM Transmitter for iPod® and iPhone:
Not sure what makes this product Wireless all it is is one big wire. Reception keeps cuting in and out, and is fuzzy. If you are always in the car this is not the right product. It is light weight and simple to use, but the buttons don't always cooperate, making it more of a hassle then anything. It does work but is alittle lacking in some areas I am returning mine tomorrow and finding something with better reception
