Comments about Monster® iCarPlay Wireless 250 FM Transmitter with AutoScan for iPod® and iPhone:
Ok, lets see I this is my second FM transmitter that I have tried and this one didn't work either. I took it out of the package and plugged it in and the LCD screen lit up but didn't show the freq. It just flashed some random digits and then quit working completely. Don't waste your money or time.

Comments about Monster® iCarPlay Wireless 250 FM Transmitter with AutoScan for iPod® and iPhone:
At best, this thing broadcasts audio slightly louder than the background radio noise it's trying to overcome. Hisses and whines often make listening to an audio podcast very difficult.
The station finder almost always picks a station with an actual broadcast on the channel, frequently missing frequencies I know to be dead all over town.
At worst, the product randomly reboots, sometimes frequently. The cig lighter power supply flashes on and off and makes using it so unreliable as to not be worth it. I returned the product to the store for a replacement, and the replacement, after less than 2 months, exhibits the same symptoms, even though I've changed the car AND the iphone.
It is even more frustrating than the previous Monster cable FM transmitter thing that broke after 15 months (a different model).
I'll go out of my way to avoid Monster products.

Comments about Monster® iCarPlay Wireless 250 FM Transmitter with AutoScan for iPod® and iPhone:
I travel on the road a lot and I use my iPod on the near constant basis. When my old Monster Wireless finally gave up the ghost (close to 4 yrs), I didn't bat an eye about buying another Monster Wireless. It was a no brainer. The new one was great. The auto scan feature is terrific. It finds the clearest station for my podcasts & tunes on stations I would never have though to check. The sound quality is great and near clear, depending on station strength. Monster - I wouldn't use anything else.
