I just bought a new Sony LED 40" 120mz refresh TV. When I was running the Monster Components before and switch to these cables and wow big difference. The gaming and Blu Rays were a lot smoother picture!!!

I WAS ONE OF THE NORMAL SCEPTICS OUT THERE THAT THOUGHT HDMI WAS ALL THE SAME. THAT WAS UNTIL I DECIDED TO BUY A 65" PLASMA TO COMPLEMENT MY PS3. SINCE I ALREADY HAD GENERIC HDMI CABLES I FIGURED WHY SPEND EXTRA MONEY ON SOMETHING I DIDNT NEED. I PURCHASED THE TV GOT IT HOME HOOKED IT UP AND PAID TO HAVE IT CALIBRATED BY AN ISF CERTIFIED PRO. THE TECH TOLD ME THAT I WAS GOING TO HAVE TO BUY SOME DECENT CABLES BECAUSE THE ONES I HAD WERNT DOING THE JOB. HE RECOMENDED MONSTER CABLE ABOVE ALL BRANDS AND PROMISED I WOULD SEE A DIFFERANCE. HE ALSO TOLD ME THAT THE CABLES WHERE RETURNABLE IF I COULDNT TELL ANY DIFFERANCE. I WENT TO MY LOCAL BB AND PURCHASED THIS CABLE HOOKED IT TO MY PS3 AND MY TV AND WAS BLOWN AWAY BY THE CHANGE IN CLARITY, SHARPNESS, CONTRAST RANGE AND SMOOTHNESS OF ACTION SCENES. AT THAT POINT I WENT BACK AND PURCHSED A COMPLETE SET OF MONSTER CABLES FOR EVERY CONNECTION OF MY HOME THEATER. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO ANOTHER BRAND EVER AGAIN!!! THANKS MONSTER CABLE FOR ALL THE HIGH QUALITY PRODUCTS YOU CONTINUE TO PRODUCE!!!!

They're great cables, but you can get the exact same product for [$] from another company and get the exact same performance. Since it's a digital signal, you don't have to worry about having the highest quality cable possible like you would with an analog signal. It's obviously a bit more durable than normal HDMI cables, which is great, but most normal cables will last just as long, if not longer than your TV/sound system before it becomes outdated and you buy something new anyways. Silly to purchase from monster unless they start lowering their prices a LOT.
