Comments about RadioPlay 300:
I bought this device over 9 years ago when I got my driver's license to play my (first generation) Ipod in the car. At first I was annoyed because it did not charge my Ipod while it played. However, now that I just got a Blackberry I am happy to realize I can play my BB's Pandora stations AND my (4th generation) Ipod when I so desire with this device. Is still in perfect working order after almost a decade of constant use. Only complaint is the buttons are sensitive and sometimes I will blast my eardrums when it accidentally changes to a static station (you must turn the volume up highest through the device not your car speakers for the best results).

Comments about RadioPlay 300:
I've owned this FM transmitter for two years and it worked like a charm until today. It is very powerful and will even broadcast up to eight car links away. My friends could follow me around town in their car and tune to the same FM signal to listen to my iPod shuffle. I have a GPS unit with a built-in FM transmitter and it barely works inside my own vehicle much less eight car links back.
On the flip side it broke today. It stopped broadcasting in stereo and is crackling when I move it around. I'm guessing a wire has come loose inside. If you only need this item for a couple of years you will be satisfied.
One minor draw back is that it doesn't use the full FM band so you may have trouble finding a clear FM signal in all places but it is powerful enough to override most weak signals if you turn the volume up on your mp3 player. FYI: I've driven around Atlanta without any problems.
I'm off to buy another one.

Just purchased today, hoping to use this for a long, long time. I have a long commute, and use this to listen to mp3s of talk show podcasts, without dangerous earbuds. So far, I am pleased with the setup, construction and design of the product.

This unit was a lifesaver for a long trip through an area where there are not any radio stations for hundreds of miles. Easy to setup and use.
