HTPS 7000 MKII Delivers Serious Power Protection for Serious Home Theater Installations
The ultimate in today's power conditioning for home theater, Monster HTPS 7000 MKII Home Theatre Reference PowerSource™ improves upon our top-rated, award-winning HTPS 7000 to ensure that your equipment is getting the absolute cleanest, purest, noise-free AC line power. Clean Power™ Stage 5 is the most advanced isolation filter technology you can buy, but it's just the beginning of the story here. Coupled with Dual Balanced Pure Power™, which ensures that alternating AC waves are perfectly symmetric, the HTPS 7000 MKII goes way beyond what any other power conditioners do to deliver the purest AC power to your sensitive video components and sound system. In the words of The Head Monster, Noel Lee: "The top-of-the-line HTPS 7000 MKII PowerSource features the world's finest filter circuitry designed by Richard Marsh and triple shielded transformers (with uniquely switchable balanced or isolated settings) that will subdue any noise or ground loop you can throw at it. And, as always, the HTPS 7000 MKII features Monster hallmark, high-end components and performance."

Without Clean, Balanced Power, Your Audio System Can’t Deliver Peak Performance
The current that comes from most AC outlets is inherently imbalanced, causing high-frequency oscillations that get picked up by your gear in the form of performance-robbing hum, buzz and static. And while filtering radio frequency (RF) and electromagnetic (EM) interference can remove much of this extraneous noise from your system, only a power center with perfectly balanced power can fully remove interference for the best possible sound from your audio components.

Monster HTPS 7000 MKII Provides Balanced Power and Ultimate Power Conditioning for Best Possible Home Theater Picture and Sound
The HTPS 7000 MKII employs cutting-edge technology to perform the difficult task of balancing the power used by your video and audio components. Equipped with unique twin isolation transformers, the unit refines and matches the current from your wall outlet to achieve a perfect balance between the negative and positive current flowing to and from your A/V components. The result? A virtually complete elimination of power line oscillations and the extraneous noise they can cause. With HTPS 7000 MKII as an integral part of your home theater installation, your audio components will perform with stunning clarity, more presence, significantly expanded frequency response, and powerfully precise imaging, while your video components will deliver clearer, sharper images, brilliant colors, and a static-free picture. Monster Power Clean Power Stage 5 circuitry uses five ultra-advanced isolated filters to provide robust rejection of the electromechanical and radio frequency interference from AC power lines and even from other components in the system. Its optimized filters minimize the types of interference that affect each individual application to provide a superior level of interference rejection. The result is true videophile and audiophile-level performance from your home theater system.

Microprocessor-Controlled Sequenced Switching and High-Capacity Surge Protection Ensure Enhanced Safety for Your Expensive Video and Audio Components
The HTPS 7000 MKII features intelligent, microprocessor-controlled turn-on sequencing to protect your components from damage that may occur when they're powered on in an incorrect sequence, and allows switching to be performed through its front panel for maximum convenience. The HTPS 7000 MKII also provides superior surge/spike protection for your home theater components with Monster-exclusive Tri-Mode circuitry and a very high surge/spike absorption rating of 7200 Joules. In addition to 12 surge-protected AC outlets (conveniently color-coded, with matching equipment labels for easy hookups), HTPS 7000 MKII also features surge-protected coax connectors for satellite-TV set top box, cable-TV and antenna connections. For further protection, RJ11/45 combo telephone/network protection jacks prevent damage from surges along the phone wire or Ethernet connection to satellite and DVR/TiVo units.

A digital microprocessor-driven display provides instantaneous monitoring of all functions and voltage and current fluctuations. And unlike some surge protectors that require repair or complete replacement after a surge, patented T2 auto-reset circuitry automatically disconnects the system during a surge, and then reconnects when conditions are safe again. We also use a heavy-duty, double shielded PowerLine™ 300 power cable for trouble-free use. It all adds up to the finest power conditioning and protection in home theater today, with ultra-sophisticated power protection that automatically resets.

The HTPS 7000 MKII builds upon the superb tradition of the HTPS 7000, winner of the prestigious CES Innovations Award. New MKII features include a higher Joule rating, digital volt/amp meter, our patented, computer-controlled Monster T2™ surge protection and protected phone/network combo connections.

Enjoy Monsterous™ Home Theater Performance
When you want the highest levels of performance, protection, and power conditioning for your home theatre system, there is only one choice: Monster Power Home Theatre Power Source HTPS 7000 MKII.

Comments about Home Theater Reference HTPS 7000 MKII PowerSource with Dual Balanced Pure Power™ and Clean Power™ Stage 5:

I added this unit into my fully automated theater system. The 12 volt trigger input and sequencial start up is perfect as the lights no longer dim from the subwoffer and amp powering up at the same time. The unit lowers floor noise and is excellent at separating the multiple power supplies and preventing them from interacting negatively. The video performance is noteworthy. With cable TV I had issues with the image that the unit cleaned up. Before you spend a lot of money to replace components, get an AC Line conditioner. They make a huge difference in your system. Only thing I owuld change is an EIC on the back so that I could use a custom power cord from Aural Thrills.

       SAFETY TIPS

Important Monster® Performance and Safety Tips
      Listen Responsibly

To avoid hearing damage, make sure that the volume on your music player is turned down before connecting your headphones. After placing headphones in your ears, gradually turn up the volume until you reach a comfortable listening level.

Noise levels are measured in decibels (dB), exposure to any noise at or above 85 dB can cause gradual hearing loss.

Monitor your use; hearing loss is a function of loudness versus time. The louder it is, the less time you can be exposed to it. The softer it is, the more time you can listen to it. Refer to the chart* below.

This decibel (dB) table compares some common sounds and shows how they rank in potential harm to hearing.
      SoundNoise Level (dB)Effect
      Whisper30Very quiet
Quiet Office50-60Comfortable hearing levels are under 60 dB
Vacuum Cleaner, Hair Dryer70Intrusive; interferes with telephone conversations
Food Blender85-9085 dB is the level at which hearing damage (8 hrs.) begins
Garbage Truck, Cement Mixer100No more than 15 minutes of unprotected exposure recommended for sounds between 90-100 dB
Power Saw, Drill/Jackhammer110Regular exposure to sound over 100 dB of more than 1 minute risks permanent hearing loss
Rock Concerts (varies)110-140Threshold of pain begins around 125dB
"....a typical person can safely listen to an iPod for 4.6 hours per day at 70% volume."
"....knowing the levels one is listening to music at, and for how long is extremely important."
      From http://www.cbc.ca/health/story/2006/10/19/music-earphones.html
Get the most out of your equipment and enjoy great audio performance even at safe levels.
Our headphones will allow you to hear more details at lower volume levels than ever before.

      Use Responsibly

Do not use headphones when it's unsafe to do so - while operating a vehicle, crossing streets, or during any activity or in an environment where your full attention to your surroundings is required.

It's dangerous to drive while wearing headphones, and in many places, illegal because it decreases your chances of hearing life-saving sounds outside of your vehicle, such as another car's horn and emergency vehicle sirens.

Please avoid wearing your headphones while driving. Use one of Monster's FM transmitters to listen to your mobile media devices instead.

Learn how to establish a safe listening level and review other important safety guidelines from the Consumer Electronics Association at www.ce.org and the Deafness Research Foundation at www.drf.org.
