I have the older version of this unit. I had been watching and listening to my home theater system with a much lower quality power conditioner. As soon as I got everything hooked up and turned it on, I started watching my first dvd. It was unreal the huge difference it made in my sound and video quality. Anyone who is using a standard strip type protector, I HIGHLY recommend you do something else with it and buy a MonsterPower power conditioner. You may not have to go as high in the line as I did, but you will notice the difference in your audio and video. Not to mention the surge protection properties of these are unequaled by the strip type units.
