Comments about Monster® iCarPlay Wireless Plus for iPod®:
This product, as is with all FM Transmitters does not have enough transmiting power to use in an environment that is flooded with FM radio stations. In todays market, with HD radio everywhere, it is impossible to find a station that does not have an FM broadcast. This transmitter, as is with all of them on the market, has a output power of ~30milliwats! This power output is regulated by the FCC and it will not allow the device to transmit with enough power to overcome any radio broadcast with in 10 feet of the radio, so in my opinion all of the FM transmitters on the market are worthless.

Comments about Monster® iCarPlay Wireless Plus for iPod®:
Worked reasonably well with my iPOD nano, but received an iPOD touch for Christmas and was very disappointed that this expensive device would not charge the itouch. The FM transmitter does work, though. As an Engineer, I cannot believe that Monster, who are known for premium products at premium prices did not design some margin into this device!!

It is practically impossible for me to use this thing without getting static. Why, it's just like listening to the radio! Maybe because I don't live in the middle of nowhere, that I have this problem? And guess what: You can get it much cheaper elsewhere. Thank god I did!
