I use Monster cables for connecting my bass to my amp via a few floor pedals also hooked up with monster pedal cables.
I have used a few differrent cables over the 18 years of playing bass, but once I plugged these cables in I instantly noticed a dramatic improvement in my tone.
Cleaner and punchier mids, tighter more resonant lows, and cleaner smoother highs. I was still using a few non monster pedal connectors and when I replaced these again I noticed an improvement in tone. I did not think these short lengths would have such a marked effect on my sound.
Monster cables are built to last and look fantastic.
Don't customise your guitars via pickups, bridges etc or invest in boutique pedals without using monster cables.

People have always told me to buy monster, but I never thought it was worth it. I finally gave in and bought one, and I've gotta tell you, the difference was appalling. I never thought a cable could make this much of a difference. Now, I use all monster cables. Definitely worth the price.

I've recently purchased 2x 6' cables, an 075 patch, a 150 patch and a 12a instrument cable for my go to bass rig. I already had a 6' Monster Bass from about 4 years ago. The sound to me is even more defined, but there are also real differences in the flexibility of the cable...(much softer, but reassuringly sturdy!) and the quality of the jacks has also improved greatly.
I still need to add a couple more 12's (one angled, one straight) plus a couple of 150 patches to the rig, for other set up options that I occasionally have, but the difference is amazing. Clarity and authority of tone is very noticeable...like the sound was buffed up and put back!
I'm also hoping to be able to get hold of a couple of 30' Mic cables, but I'm struggling to find a retailer in the UK or mainland Europe for them at the moment. I know you guys are looking into that, so thank you!
Good cable is hard to find. There's a lot of hoo ha written about it, and it is ultimately down to user choice and budget limitations. Bottom line is, if you can afford it...you really should buy it.
Wait. Maybe that should be, can you afford NOT to buy it? It reall y is that good.
Thanks for your part in my eternal search for ultimate tone.
Best
