 FEATURES

The AVS 2000 is designed to stabilize power line fluctuations and maintain constant voltage to your professional components.

You Need High Performance and Great Sound For Consistent 120V Output
Your professional audio equipment was designed to work at 120-volts AC. It's so simple it's easily taken for granted. There's just one problem: 120-volts may not be the voltage your sensitive audio equipment gets. Voltage irregularities can be caused by electric system "brownouts" that local power utility companies use to manage peak demands. Studio irregularities and sags can be caused by draining more power than the wiring was really designed to support. Even worse are the common sags that occur when heavy appliances like air conditioners and refrigerators start up. The consequences may be increased distortion and reduced dynamic range, a click or pop or speed variation, or even total equipment failure resulting from components literally burning themselves up trying to make do with too-low voltage (like a car stuck in first gear trying to go fast). On the road, the quality of electricity in the venues you play can vary widely, and the potential for damaging your sound and your gear with under voltage or over voltage is ever-present.

PRO AVS 2000 Is Designed To Stabilize Power Line Fluctuations And Maintain Constant Voltage To Your Professional Components
Monster PRO AVS 2000 Rack Mountable Automatic Voltage Stabilizer keeps your equipment running optimally and safely at precisely 120-volts, consistently and reliably. PRO AVS 2000 automatically corrects for under-voltage and over-voltage conditions, whether just for an instant or for an entire recording session or performance. The correction range is a wide 80 to 140-volts.

Power Protection for Serious Audio PROs
Voltage sags below the standard RMS value of 120 volts are often caused by power-hungry appliances and professional gear that draw more power (over 1800 watts) than your studio was designed to support. This can have a direct effect on professional studio components, including amplifiers that require high power levels to operate at optimum performance level. As a result, sound can lose tone and clarity. Amplifiers change gain structure, which results in easy-to-hear distortions. They also won't deliver peak power, dropping from 100 watts to as low as 60 watts, for example.

With the PRO AVS 2000, all your high power devices will maintain the stability needed to deliver peak power and performance. You'll enjoy the smoothest, most natural sound and tone. And thanks to the sequential turn-on feature, your high power loads can operate at peak performance without causing unnecessary electrical stress that can pop a circuit breaker, cause an audible click, or damage your components. Get PRO AVS 2000 so all your audio components deliver peak power and performance automatically.

Comments about PRO AVS 2000 Rack Mountable Automatic Voltage Stabilizer:

I have been slowly migrating my studio over to Monster Power products and the AVS2000 was the final installment. I plugged in the AVS2000 and instantly I was able to tell the difference in sound and performance of my studio equipment. After 3 years of waiting, it was well worth the price of admission!!!
If you are a Pro to Semi-Pro studio, do yourself a favor and invest in a AVS2000. Your clients will thank you and it will pay for itself in no time.

     SAFETY TIPS

Important Monster® Performance and Safety Tips
    Listen Responsibly

To avoid hearing damage, make sure that the volume on your music player is turned down before connecting your headphones. After placing headphones in your ears, gradually turn up the volume until you reach a comfortable listening level.

Noise levels are measured in decibels (dB), exposure to any noise at or above 85 dB can cause gradual hearing loss.

Monitor your use; hearing loss is a function of loudness versus time. The louder it is, the less time you can be exposed to it. The softer it is, the more time you can listen to it. Refer to the chart* below.

This decibel (dB) table compares some common sounds and shows how they rank in potential harm to hearing.
    SoundNoise Level (dB)Effect
    Whisper30Very quiet
Quiet Office50-60Comfortable hearing levels are under 60 dB
Vacuum Cleaner, Hair Dryer70Intrusive; interferes with telephone conversations
Food Blender85-9085 dB is the level at which hearing damage (8 hrs.) begins
Garbage Truck, Cement Mixer100No more than 15 minutes of unprotected exposure recommended for sounds between 90-100 dB
Power Saw, Drill/Jackhammer110Regular exposure to sound over 100 dB of more than 1 minute risks permanent hearing loss
Rock Concerts (varies)110-140Threshold of pain begins around 125dB
"....a typical person can safely listen to an iPod for 4.6 hours per day at 70% volume."
"....knowing the levels one is listening to music at, and for how long is extremely important."
    From http://www.cbc.ca/health/story/2006/10/19/music-earphones.html
Get the most out of your equipment and enjoy great audio performance even at safe levels.
Our headphones will allow you to hear more details at lower volume levels than ever before.

    Use Responsibly

Do not use headphones when it's unsafe to do so - while operating a vehicle, crossing streets, or during any activity or in an environment where your full attention to your surroundings is required.

It's dangerous to drive while wearing headphones, and in many places, illegal because it decreases your chances of hearing life-saving sounds outside of your vehicle, such as another car's horn and emergency vehicle sirens.

Please avoid wearing your headphones while driving. Use one of Monster's FM transmitters to listen to your mobile media devices instead.

Learn how to establish a safe listening level and review other important safety guidelines from the Consumer Electronics Association at www.ce.org and the Deafness Research Foundation at www.drf.org.
