Comments about Monster Standard® 100 Instrument Cable:
I abuse cables, and these really stand up to my abuse..the tone quality is way better then off the shelf cables. Very quiet under heavy overdrives..I noticed a deeper low on the bass strings and a smooth mid.

Comments about Monster Standard® 100 Instrument Cable:
The cables work well for what they do. I haven't had any of them break or stop working, but if they did there is always that lifetime warranty!

Comments about Monster Standard® 100 Instrument Cable:
I see some others have had problems with their cables. I have had no problems whatsoever. Mine has been through some of the toughest conditions. I am a pro who travels internationally and beats up cables at many many venues. This cable has never let me down so far and it's been four years.

Comments about Monster Standard® 100 Instrument Cable:
I've gone through a few of these cables. The jacket gets bent and internal wires get broken easily though. Great cable if your looking for something simple and relatively cheap. Just be sure to take if out of your instrument when not in use. Leaving it on a floor stand will bend the jacket and break them quickly. Take care of the cable and you will be fine though...and if not, then take advantage of the lifetime warranty.

Comments about Monster Standard® 100 Instrument Cable:
After years of just grabbing whatever cheap guitar cable i could find whenever my old one went out, I finally decided to spring for a monster cable.I got this one with the 90 angle on one end as I like to put my cable through my strap and it makes things alot easier. And It worked great for one weekend.I got two practices and half one show out of it before the angle jack broke and started fading in and out and making a crackling noise. So I took it to my local guitar shop and got a new one thinking I had just done something to break it.Then three days later cable #2 goes out too.And when I got to my third cord in two weeks and decided I was done.So I took it back and upgraded to the "Monster Rock" cable and so far i haven't had any trouble with it.So if you decide to get a monster cable i'd recommend the good ones and not the competitively priced ones cause they're no better than the cheapest cable out there. But I guess the up side is you dont have to pay for it when you get a new cable every other weeekend. All in all i'd say the "s" series cables would probably be fine for goofing off at home but arent reliable enough to play shows with.So based on my experience,if you're gonna get a monster cable, the bass and "rock" guitar cables are great if you're willing to shell out the extra $$$ for the monster label, but don't waste your time with this one.
