I'm sure it works as described - except for the fact that the packaging claims it's "For use with all iPod."
This is just false. It does not transmit signals from the new iPod volume/track controls built into the headphones. Which means it does not, really, work with a current generation iPod shuffle.
(Or more to the point, it works exactly like any other not-fully-supported headphone would work. Which is not good enough, IMO.)
