Precision Audiophile Speaker Cable Incorporates Monster’s Finest Technologies

Refined Cable Design for Serious Music Lovers
Subtle differences between audiophile speaker cables are as significant to serious music lovers as differences between high-end CD players or loudspeakers. M2.2s, with its precision engineering and performance, meets a higher set of standards than most so-called "audiophile" cables. It achieves unprecedented levels of sonic accuracy ideal for critical listeners who want to enjoy every last nuance of music performance.

Advanced Multi -Gauge Construction and Time Correct® Windings Deliver Unprecedented Balance and Accuracy
M2.2s features a sophisticated combination of multiple-gauge wire networks to optimize parameters of frequency and phase response. Each wire network utilizes patented Time Correct® windings for precise imaging and exact placement of instruments across a wide soundstage. Combined with Monster's innovative Magnetic Flux Tube® – specially designed to control distortion – producing magnetic fields. M2.2s is one of the most realistic and musical speaker cables available, at any price.

Technologies That Make Recordings Come Alive: MultiTwist®, MicroFiber® and PEX™ Dielectric
M2.2s incorporates Monster's famous MultiTwist™ construction, an ultra-tight winding of conductors resulting in enhanced sonic performance and superior noise rejection throughout the audio bandwidth. Combined with our new PEX dielectric for improved signal transfer and MicroFiber dielectric insulation for faster transients, M2.2s offers very low dynamic noise to bring out all the details in your favorite recordings.

Monster Network Terminator™ Lowers the Noise Floor for Incredibly Clean, Smooth Music Reproduction
M2.2s incorporates our Monster Network Terminator™, specially designed to terminate cable in its characteristic impedance to compensate for the inductive properties that all speakers exhibit at high frequencies. Proper termination lowers the noise and spectral contamination. With the Monster Network Terminator™, you enjoy the best possible performance from your speakers for cleaner sound and improved timbrel balance.

Designed for Uncompromising Audiophiles
M2.2s offer superior manufacturing and sonic results, down to the last detail – soundstage, imaging, range and resolution – for audiophiles who expect world class performance from their high-end speakers.

 SAFETY TIPS

Important Monster® Performance and Safety Tips
Listen Responsibly

To avoid hearing damage, make sure that the volume on your music player is turned down before connecting your headphones. After placing headphones in your ears, gradually turn up the volume until you reach a comfortable listening level.

Noise levels are measured in decibels (dB), exposure to any noise at or above 85 dB can cause gradual hearing loss.

Monitor your use; hearing loss is a function of loudness versus time. The louder it is, the less time you can be exposed to it. The softer it is, the more time you can listen to it. Refer to the chart* below.

This decibel (dB) table compares some common sounds and shows how they rank in potential harm to hearing.
SoundNoise Level (dB)Effect
Whisper30Very quiet
Quite Office50-60Comfortable hearing levels are under 60 dB
Vacuum Cleaner, Hair Dryer70Intrusive; interferes with telephone conversations
Food Blender85-9085 dB is the level at which hearing damage (8 hrs.) begins
Garbage Truck, Cement Mixer100No more than 15 minutes of unprotected exposure recommended for sounds between 90-100 dB
Power Saw, Drill/Jackhammer110Regular exposure to sound over 100 dB of more than 1 minute risks permanent hearing loss
Rock Concerts (varies)110-140Threshold of pain begins around 125dB
"....a typical person can safely listen to an iPod for 4.6 hours per day at 70% volume."
"....knowing the levels one is listening to music at, and for how long is extremely important."

Get the most out of your equipment and enjoy great audio performance even at safe levels.
Our headphones will allow you to hear more details at lower volume levels than ever before.

Use Responsibly

Do not use headphones when it’s unsafe to do so – while operating a vehicle, crossing streets, or during any activity or in an environment where your full attention to your surroundings is required.

It's dangerous to drive while wearing headphones, and in many places, illegal because it decreases your chances of hearing life-saving sounds outside of your vehicle, such as another car's horn and emergency vehicle sirens.

Please avoid wearing your headphones while driving. Use one of Monster’s FM transmitters to listen to your mobile media devices instead.

Learn how to establish a safe listening level and review other important safety guidelines from the Consumer Electronics Association at www.ce.org and the Deafness Research Foundation at www.drf.org.
