You need Wi-Fi. The basic kits come with the Monster Central Gateway and you plug that into your Internet router. That way you're connected to the web and your Monster Central devices.

Download the FREE Monster Central app for the iPhone or Android phone. Set up your account.

Plug in one of the Power Central modules and plug the device you want to control into the Power Central module control circuit.

That's it.

Once your device is set up you can easily control it from the app. You can also monitor the power the device is using and the cost of that power in real time.

You can also arrange schedules. A daytime schedule and a nighttime schedule. This allows you to have lights and appliances function as you want them to whether you are home or not.
