GEORGE BENSON

George BensonFrom jazz guitar legend to soul-pop vocalist extraordinaire, eight-time Grammy winner George Benson has cultivated an international fan base as well as tremendous critical acclaim for three things: incomparable versatility, first-class execution in all he does and, perhaps most importantly, for never being predictable.

Benson began playing professionally in early 1960s, but his commercial cross-over breakthrough came in 1976 with Breezin', the first jazz record to attain platinum sales. The 1976 blockbuster, his first in a long association with Warner Bros. Records. That album yielded a Record-of-the-Year Grammy for "This Masquerade." He now records for GRP.

When it comes to the quality of sound, George demands the best. That's why he uses Monster Prolink Series cables. "What a difference a cable makes," says Benson. "Prolink cables give me more of everything. They add clarity and depth to my tone and they give me all the top and bottom I want, without compromising one for the other." George described the mastering for "Come Into My World," the single from Love Remembers. "We switched between a Monster mix and non-Monster Cable mix, and the difference was incredible. The Monster mix required almost no EQ. I've moved to Monster cables because they actually make my life easier." "Prolink cables capture and communicate every bit of sound that distinguishes my music. They're clearly the best."
