AES
In support of the CEA's Great Audio Experience, Monster Cable took the opportunity to educate audio professionals and the press of
the ways to get consumers excited about audio again, and what Monster is doing to help out. The luncheon included a press conference
given by Noel Lee and a panel of Famous Monsters, introducing the new Turbine Pro In-Ear Speakers to the professional audio community,
and music demos of the new Monster HDS (High Definition Surround) releases of George Benson and Anjulie.

Head Monster Noel Lee's presentation to the attendees was filled with extremely relevant facts that gave insight to changes that our
industry is going through and how Monster is working towards meeting the needs of today's consumer. He addressed how most consumers
are listening to inferior audio formats- on inferior monitoring products. Explaining that even if they listen to low quality audio
formats, by monitoring the music with high quality products there's a better chance they will have a great listening experience and
begin to really care about great audio.
Proving that philosophy, The Head Monster shared a brief history of the product sensation, BEATS by Dre. The popularity of the
headphones and ear buds have caused retailers like Best Buy to "Think Audio" again and has started the conversation of "Sound Really
Matters" between celebrities and consumers alike.
Making sure to include audio professionals and audiophiles, the Head Monster personally designed Turbine Pro: In-Ear Speakers for
mobile reference monitoring. This product literally gives the listener their own set of custom speakers right in their ears. Sharing
their experiences of the Turbine Pros, some of the industry's top engineers and Famous Monsters, Tony Maserati, Ed Cherney, Frank
Filipetti, and David Frangioni served on a panel at the event. All of them explained why sound really matters, and how Turbine Pro
and other Monster products contribute to achieving their own high standards for audio.
Throughout the room were various demo stations displaying the multiple professional applications of the Turbine Pro In-Ear Speakers,
including laptop and live in-ear scenarios. All attendees had their own listening experiences at the stations and Monster received
an impressive response. Adding to the listening experience was demos of the new Monster Music HDS material from Anjulie and Jazz
guitar legend George Benson.
