DJ LS One Miami, FL
DJ LS One is more than your average DJ. Born in Brooklyn, LS idolized his father who was a DJ and would take him along to his gigs. In 1989, he met the legendary DJ Mr. Cee (Big Daddy Kane's DJ) who noticed a raw, undeveloped talent in this young teen. DJ Mr. Cee put him on one of the hottest underground hip-hop radio hows in New York. During this time, he interviewed the rap trio Onyx. Jam Master Jay & Sticky Fingaz chose him to be the DJ for Onyx. Thus began his ride with the DEF JAM family. In 1998 after Onyx broke up, he joined DMX and the Ruff Ryders. LS went on the Hard Knock Lyfe Tour, the most successful hip-hop tour to date. In 2000 he did the Cash Money Ruff Ryders Tour and others throughout the US, Canada, Europe, Japan and the Caribbean and Central America.
He was also a member of the G-Unit family and worked with Young Buck, Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo, 50 Cent and Mobb Deep. Other artists include Q-Tip, Guru, Busta Rhymes, Redman, Methodman, Raekwon, Fabolous and Drake. Watch out for this one, he’s more than just your average DJ!
