DJ Nabs Atlanta, GA

DJ Nabs is a native of Durham N.C. who began his career in Atlanta as a mix show DJ for WVEE radio. After hearing Nabs' skill on the turntables, up-and-coming producer Jermaine Dupri formed a collaboration with Nabs and his teen rap group Kris Kross. Nabs would eventually become So So Def's exclusive DJ backing up Da Brat, Xscape, Jermaine Dupri and Bow Wow. After years touring with top artists like Mariah Carey, Ciara and Bow Wow and Michael Jackson, Nabs returned to Atlanta radio as a full time on-air personality and mixer.

In 1998, Nabs produced his first commercially released mixtape album for Columbia Records entitled In The Lab With DJ Nabs: The Live Album. This project featured the live performances by Kurtis Blow, Big Daddy Kane and studio tracks from Jagged Edge, Jermaine Dupri and a then unknown Ludacris. Nabs continues to work the turntables at various industry events, works alongside Michael Mauldin as an Artist Development Manager at Mauldin Brand Agency, and is set to release his first documentary, The American DJ Story.

"I've known about Monster cable for many years. I love using their headphones, they are worth ever dime because they look great and sound amazing. I'm a documentarian and before I even heard of Monster DJ products, I was in Paris spinning and filming for my upcoming film The American DJ Story, and because I support quality in what I do, I used Monster for everything."
