Formerly known as Amanda Diva, Amanda Seales is a true Renaissance woman. A DJ, painter, tv/web pop culture critic, singer/MC and scholar, she has successfully made a career out of creating quality work rooted in music and pop culture. While receiving her master’s in African American studies at Columbia University she served as and MTV VJ and appears regularly on MTV's Hip Hop POV, VH1 and HLN as a music expert and comedy commentator. Remarkably, she is also an accomplished visual artist who shows in exhibits, does live painting events, and has a hand-painted bag line. With murals commissioned in Grenada, Berlin and New York, her hand-painted bag line featured on Karmaloop.com and inclusion in the Bombay Sapphire Artisan Series her work has been recognized globally.
