San Francisco's King Loses Crown infuses hardcore punk and electro into a fiery, dance-defying live performance. With anthemic lyrics, live and sampled vocals, loud guitars and electronic beats, King Loses Crown delivers a primal blast to the face. Kent is the bassist for KLC, and is also the Executive Producer of Foglands Music and Sound Design, producing and composing music for brands such as Got Milk, Clif Bar, Google, Asics and more.
After a foray into playing the trumpet and nearly losing his front teeth, switching to the drums, and finally at age 15, Mike Cobra bought his first guitar from a pawn shop. It was the same month Nirvana's Nevermind album was released. He is now a San Francisco based songwriter, vocalist, guitar player, film director and designer. During daylight, he can be found co-running the creative agency Cobra Creative with his wife for clients like Clif Bar, Live Nation and Method. At night, he can be found in his home studio, seedy clubs and anywhere the music's loud. 2012 will see the release of multiple projects from both fellows, but most notably with King Loses Crown. Keep an eye on these guys!
"I'm a huge fan of Monster cables and not just because of their sound. The cables are durable and don't easily snap or fray. I deal out a lot of punishment on my gear when playing live and Monster lives up to it's name by withstanding that pressure and sounding great in the process.
