DJ Shogun
Growing up in Queens, NY, Shogun discovered DJing during the “Golden Age” of Hip-Hop. Intrigued by his newfound obsession, Shogun put his skills to the test, making personal mixtapes and spinning at local parties.
His reputation was galvanized when he was recognized for his mixtapes by the Justo's Mixtape Awards – a legendary ceremony featuring stars like Diddy, 50 Cent and Wu-Tang Clan – where he was a four-time nominee for the Best Blends category. Shogun has dazzled eclectic and varied crowds in some of the world’s trendiest clubs and spun for events like MTV Video Music Award after-parties, Rock Fashion Week Miami and the Michael Jordan Celebrity Golf Invitational.
